Work experience in the form of an internship is a great way to gain real life skills and build your resume, putting yourself ahead of the game.
Many majors give students the requirement of finding their own internships and completing them before receiving a diploma, which can prove quite challenging and stressful.
How do you go about picking a good one? Whether an internship is desired or required, there are many great options out there.
The Disney internship program can prove to be an excellent choice. Anyone who has completed a semester of college can apply, providing more opportunities for younger students. All majors are welcome to apply as well.
Internship hours are full time, approximately 40 hours per week, with programs from May to January, August to January or a summer program. All internships are paid, which is a plus. The average pay is $9-almost $13 per hour, depending on the department. Disney will also provide housing for those students who need it.
