Pathways or mudways?

Dear Editor,

The ground conditions of the winter-time SSU campus is pathetic.

The campus's paved foot paths are not large enough when the ground around them is turned to mud due to rain.

The ones that need the most work are around Ives Hall.  The path that leads from in between Ives Hall and Person Theatre toward Darwin hall is too narrow during peak travel times.

The footpaths leading from the Beaujolais/Tuscany villages toward Salazar Hall and the Gymnasium are by far the worst; they're not even paved.  Even small amounts of rain turn them into mud.

You would think the paths would have been improved considering well over 1000 students live on that side of campus and use those paths every day.

Action must be taken to improve these highly-traveled foot paths.
